Nearly 6,000 calls are answered each year by our Answers on Aging staff to assist seniors in understanding the complicated array of federal and state programs. Many seniors and their loved ones do not know where to go for services, what services are available, and for which services the individual qualifies. Our Answers on Aging program serves as a one stop resource center for seniors and loved ones. This program assesses the senior’s needs, identifies the most appropriate services or programs available and links the individuals to the agencies providing those services

• Illinois Cares RX/Circuit Breaker enrollment
• LIHEAP application assistance (no money funded)
• Social Security Extra Help application enrollment, disability application, lost or new cards
• Health Fair/Flu Shots
• Notary Services
• Referrals to Community Resources
• General aging information and help
• Regular monthly hours at area senior centers and townships
